Seats

Did I imagine it or was the flight HKG-AMS in econ /really/ using smaller seats on an exit row (width) compared to the puddle-jumper Fokker from AMS-BHX.. Have they further downgraded econ?

Perhaps all that food ingested in HKG . I notice my trousers shrink during a trip, too.

In all seriousness, the exit row seats can feel narrower as the tray tables fit into non-removable armrests.

I find the KLMuk F100s have better legroom and width than most other economy seating on KLM aircraft, with the possible exception of the 737.

Thanks... well I couldn't remove the dividers but you lose space with what they laughingly call IFE as well... but then I didn't move the divider on the other flights and yet...

I need to examine more carefully - when I flew HEL- x - x- BHX with LH in econ (award to use up those UA points I've got) even that seemed spacious for a quite large chap. Mind you being re-routed via FRA on a 270 seat massive plane was an oddity.
