Air Baltic with KL code (with a twist)

I am booked on the BT (direct) flight from AMS to VNO (no connection) as KL code. I had to do online checkin through BT and the BP now mentions just the BT fight number (no sign of codeshare). I am wondering if lounge access (KL lounge) would be possible or anybody has an experience?

Checkin is always with the operating carrier, so no surprises there.

I could be wrong, but I didn't think you would have lounge access through Flying Blue on Air Baltic, regardless of the marketing carrier (unless in transit to/from a SkyTeam flight).

On a KL coded flight you should be able to get access to KL lounges, unless this has been changed recently.

Also the lounge in Riga is accessible with FB on a KL codeshare. Not 100% sure about VNO.

Update from onboard BT using the (super duper fast) starlin wifi: Agent at KL lounge, after having some initial doubt, saw the marketed KL code and allowed me access. BT uses the Aspire lounge so I believe access on a BT marketed flight would not be possible.

On this topic, it seems that there is a difference between AF and KL, at least in terms of the pages: AF page explicitly lists lounge access when flying BT (based on this page) compared to KL which does not list it all (here)
