Problem Trying to Book
Trying to book GLA-HKG return via AMS and CDG on the KLM website in premium comfort and I keep getting a message saying:
"Sorry, because of a technical issue on our end, it's not possible to complete your booking online."
However if I change the destination to ICN or change the point of departure to EDI I get taken to the seat selection page then the payment page.
I spoke with the KLM helpdesk in the UK and they were also unable to get it to book.
Anybody got any ideas what might be causing this?

If I select the GLA-AMS-HKG flights rather than GLA-AMS-CDG-HKG then the booking engine lets me past the screen where you input the name to proceed to the seat selection and payment screens.
When I select GLA-AMS-CDG-HKG via the app when it tries to move beyond the screen with your name/details on it, it gives an error saying The API has neither a response or an answer.
Normally I would just book the most direct routing, however it is more than 2 x the price to route via AMS with 1 stop rather than the 2 stop option via AMS and CDG.
Even the option to originate in EDI is 200 more expensive and GLA is significantly closer to me.

I can find it via Google flights where it directs me to the Air France website and I encounter the error.
I can also price it up on the Expedia app - Premium light only.
Interestingly I can price it originating in EDI with no issues. The only difference between GLA and EDI that I can think of in this case is EDI is served both by AF and KLM where as GLA is KLM only.
I have a KLM voucher that would cover approx half the cost, so would prefer to book via them.

I might have found the issue and it seems to be linked to KLM only serving GLA and KLM only offering HKG 4 days per week from AMS.
If I select GLA-AMS-CDG-HKG outbound and HKG-AMS-CDG-GLA inbound on a day when KLM have a HKG-AMS on the return then I can book premium comfort. If its on a day where KLM dont have a HKG-AMS flight then I get the error.
Therefore I just need to adjust my days slightly.

You could try a multi-segment or open-jaw booking. Just plug in the exact same flights (one by one), but the website may handle it differently that way - potentially resulting in a different outcome.
