Normally I would just book the most direct routing, however it is more than 2 x the price to route via AMS with 1 stop rather than the 2 stop option via AMS and CDG.

Even the option to originate in EDI is £200 more expensive and GLA is significantly closer to me.
why don’t you call ? They will waive the booking fee as you cannot complete the booking on-line.
