Yes, you may.
And you will have access to the Privium ClubLounge West as well, which is way superior to the other airside lounges. Johan |
Hi Johan, thanks for your reply.
Do you know seen the chaos at Schiphol that acces to the priority lanes helps or do you still need to que up outside after check-in? Is 7:15 AM busy time at Dep 3? |
The priority lanes help immensely. Only if there is a general halt in pax being allowed to enter the terminal you'd have to wait outside. The 'outside queue' that is usually shown (the one with the tents) is actually the (regular) security line. When using priority you would not have to get into that line. Under normal circumstances the wait in the priority security line would be <60 minutes, usually even <30 min.

Don't get your hopes to high of using the Privium West Lounge,
In medio July it was unfortunately the Aspire lounge only. Although i have read somewhere that SQ has returned into setting up their own roped off section in the Aspire lounge backside. As it seems on their page: https://www.singaporeair.com/nl_NL/n...unges/partner/ I messaged SQ for an explaination in August and this was the answer sent back in September: Geachte heer ---------- Bedankt voor uw warme woorden over onze cabin crew en de afhandeling van uw vlucht in Amsterdam. Met vriendelijke groet, Yours sincerely Berry van Dam Head Sales Operations and Customer Relations/PPS Club Singapore Airlines Limited <your remarks about the Aspire Lounge will be sent for evaluation to management> I wrote that SQ Business Class passengers were allowed to use Privium West Lounge in June but suddenly in July it reverted back to the Aspire Lounge. No distinction Business Class or Business Class with StarGold or even with Solitaire PPS : all were relegated to the Aspire Lounge as it was the only reference as printed on the boarding pass Martijn Zaal You could walk over to the Privium West Lounge and try, If doing so, please let us know, At least i know my writing/complaint has not been in vain.... refer to my post of 13 July about departing Amsterdam on Singapore Airlines Business Class from T3 https://www.flyertalk.com/forum/34420837-post1672.html https://cimg8.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...78e5ae2b0.jpeg Aspire lounge inprint on SQ Boarding Pass Business Class |
I cant bother going to the lounge but i will check it for you and let you know.
most important for me is that i can use the priority security lane now i am flying business class on SQ…… and hopefully not have to get in huge lines and miss my flight. |
SP with companion?
Hello! I'm SP (PL w/DL) and have my sister on my reservation for a AMS to CTA. Curious if she can use the SP lanes with me? Thanks in advance!
I guess I should say she does not have status but I do know I can get her into the Crown Lounge...just curious if the same benefits extend to check in and security lines? |

- The answer to your question is in the Mess in AMS thread. Well worth perusing for anyone going anywhere near Schiphol these days. Johan |
Martijn Zaal : you should have no problems at all,
Easiest way to access priority security is between checkin counters 24/25 You can use the automated gates or have staff open the barrier, just show them your SQ BusinessClass boarding pass. Afterwards go right towards stairs/lift towards priority security, Once on the mezzanine, the right side lane is for priority, if staff is distracted, just wave them over and show your BP and you can enter When in the priority queue, don't be surprised if persons are going ahead of you..... Privium gets priority over priority, When we departed in July, there was some audible grumble but upon explaination : privium iris scan paid service/betaalde dienst All was turned to understanding Be reminded after security, ALL passengers join the queue for passport control. You only get priority if Privium/Crew/Diplomatic/Impaired~Wheelchair And thank you for asking about the lounge situation! |

I've created a wiki. Hopefully it will help.

Star Alliance Gold Track (priority security) at Amsterdam Airport
For those travelling as Star Alliance Gold members
Please to refer to this website: https://www.staralliance.com/en/gold-track and for Schiphol airport at: https://www.staralliance.com/en/airp...=AMS#goldTrack Which announces that, priority security is available departing at T1 schengen & T3 non-schengen: - for StarGolds travelling in economy - flights on Star Alliance carriers in First & Business class Hope this helps sooth the nerves .... I had no idea this website existed, clarifying which airports offer dedicated priority security for stargold members untill my son presented me his phone under my nose when we were discussing travelling economy + status vs business (The StarAlliance GoldTrack site might be useful for the wiki) |

Hi Tourguide seems you are very good informed. I fly next week to Singapore with Singapore airlines. I am flying in business class (but no status with SQ) so can I join the priority lanes for security at Schiphol?

Amsterdam Priority Security : Skyteam / OneWorld
An add on:
(dedicated to my son having the last word) Schiphol's own site about security access, list only privium as having priority security (sneller aan de beurt) https://www.schiphol.nl/nl/security-check/ https://www.schiphol.nl/en/security-check/ no mention at all which airlines offer priority security for those travelling in economy with status or even for those travelling in premium cabins ! Which causes confusion amongst the FT-community with threads like: https://www.flyertalk.com/forum/qata...ess-class.html and https://www.flyertalk.com/forum/air-...-schiphol.html Even Heathrow's website clearly lists which airlines offer FastTrack = Priority Security https://www.heathrow.com/at-the-airp...ne-eligibility So Dick Benschop... or any Schiphol-Bobo with more than 1 braincell or whom have been remotely breathing.... want to leave a lasting impression in which you tried to save Schiphol... get someone smart to overhaul the website and security information page.... with more useful data ........ while you are at it..... add in UX with real time security waiting times .... (if NS Dutch rail can post their delays in their app/site ... so can YOU!) or even a map to show in real time which security checkpoints are open and with how many lanes serving ... Skyteam's website about SkyPriority status lists priority security as a benefit at available airports. Empirical evidence in the threads tell us that members have indeed access to Amsterdam's priority security if holding SP-boarding pass So passengers travelling in economy with SkyTeam Elite Plus status should be fine. https://www.skyteam.com/en/skypriority-page It might be interesting to download their SkyPriority app however.... https://cimg3.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...670809757.jpeg Oneworld's website has very ambigious wording about passengers travelling in economy with emerald status and also about priority security access in general : https://www.oneworld.com/travel-benefits For emeralds: Welcome To the Fast LaneGreen means go. If you are a oneworld Emerald frequent flyer, enjoy ‘Fast Track’ or ‘Priority Lane’ access at select airports worldwide. Which leaves out any literary concrete reference to priority access for security and/or passport control.... hmm ..... .... ahum.... Better is to check with individual Oneworld airlines themselves Concerning British Airways at Amsterdam, nothing's found on BA's site about priority security being offered to passengers in Club Europe or those in Euro Traveller with emerald status... I can vouch Club Europe gets priority security in T3 but it seems Euro Traveller with Emerald yoyoing being denied or allowed This happens once in a while (did Alex Cruz / Sean Doyl cost cut to much?) or could be inept Schiphol staff..... so better to consult the pros in our friends & friendly folk' BA forum: https://www.flyertalk.com/forum/brit...arding-50.html And https://www.flyertalk.com/forum/brit...ues-etc-9.html A much better site than BA itself about fast track = priority security, for those travelling in economy with emerald status, is Finnair. Example of Finnair lists priority security benefits per airport if emerald in AY's economy class Source: https://www.finnair.com/nl-en/smooth...security-check Scroll downwards to find for Amsterdam https://cimg4.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...95201620c.jpeg If only British Airways would post such a handy diagram, it would be Tally Ho! But alas BA seems to be quite crumpet mad! |
