The house is a liquid container in a size of ~50ml. Entirely legal.

Still, what's the worst case scenario... you open it and drink it. It's not anything particularly special inside, just Jenever, Bols brand if I am not mistaken.

35ml, or so the house next to me says, although isn't it the container size that counts and not the amount of liquid?
Also good luck with trying to open it before security at the airport.

Indeed though never an issue through security, and in AMS with the new scanners you can carry any amount of liquid anyway.

Thank you both. I'm looking forward to starting a collection.

It's the container size that matters, yes. It doesn't help that the huisjes are opaque either.

Oh this is news to me, including over 100ml? Are any old scanners still in use?

I'm not sure about over 100ml, don't feel like trying my luck, but definitely no taking out and no baggie any more.

All the main security checkpoints are on the new stuff - don't know about M though.

I wouldn't be found dead there anyway. Good stuff, all the unpacking always annoyed me.

Yes, I always travel with a 500ml thermal water bottle and it was never an issue in AMS no matter how much water were inside of it.
I can't remember which airport but I think it was LHR where they didn't like that it had like one sip of water in it....

I'm glad that almost 20 years later we can finally do perfectly normal stuff again like bring our own beverage to an airplane.
