Yesterday I was at AMS at priority immigration lane. My guest was denied acces to the lane (i'm still FB gold). Is this normal because at the checkin/lounge/boarding it was oke?

See http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/skyte...mall-rant.html.

Huge YMMV. I got 3 people through the KLM lane (Hall 2) and saw others managed that as well.

Practically every time im at AMS I see someone yelling at the security staff because their wife can't use the SP line.

I saw a picture on Instagram today from a passenger (99% certain he's here on FT too) who was departing from AMS. He had a special Skypriority card/BP cover which, according to him, allowed him to cut the line at boarding.
Seems a very clever idea to me. That way agents can easily spot SP PAX.
I asked KLM on Twitter but they said this was because his flight was on DL.
Seems not so hard for KLM to implement this too because they handle ground operations for DL anyway.

KLM introduces SkyPriority

Could you post a link to that instagram pic?

I have a feeling, you are referring to me.... just finished a marathon gaming session @mohegan sun... will post in the AM... and, yes, it was a Delta flight. (well, if it was me...) AMS-BOS is my continuous route... well, actually AMS-BOS-AMS.

I actually, "snagged" one of the SkyPriority signs, just for the momento purpose.

Boarding the other day, AMS-BOS, was coordinated by a Delta "Red-Coat" who was trying her best to gain some control. Multiple times she mentioned, babies and children board with their zone. She did turn back a number of families who tried to board early. I boarded when she called for Business Class, so I can't comment on how organized (or not) the SkyPriority boarding was. (they collect the SkyPriority signs, as you start to board)

They did have two doors operating for the A330, which is a nice touch (to board BusinessElite through the front).

I tend to try to arrive after boarding has begun, but this fight was a late arrival (and late boarding). It's still rather disorganized when you arrive late, but at least the signs can "catch the eye," of a DL/KLM employee who is handling boarding. If you "cut the line," you can now just hand over your sign, and not have to verbally announce why you are walking around/going in front of the masses.

So we are travelling with the family on paid tickets. One of us is FB platinum. Most reports on this are bit older, so that's why I am asking for recent experiences out of Amsterdam.

Do they let you use the Skypriority check in with all 4?

Acces to priority security is a bit of a hit and miss in this thread. Any recent experiences?
And lounge is definitely only available for Elite+1.

No problem for check-in. And if you fly to a non-Schengen destination, the SP check-in area leads directly to the priority security entrance without someone checking.

At Schengen security there is quite a good chance you will be denied entry to the priority security line. We have even been denied once while travelling as a family of 4 (young kids) with both the Mrs and myself being platinum.
At non-Schengen you will have no worries.

On slightly related topic. If one travels on paid tickets only GE and PE will have Skypriority on the their boarding passes. No other travellers in the party, not even if these are you own kids.
However, if a PE buys tickets for a party on FB points all passengers in that party will have SP and hence access to all SP services (incl. free Plat elite EC seating).

Thanks.

Thats why I wrote 'paid ticket' as I noticed indeed that the status of the person booking is being inherited in case of award bookings.

Exactly. While I don't advertise it much, I've even walked (non-SkyPriority) friends and relatives into that check-in area (using my card). Alas, all my kids are now SkyTeam Elite+. Access is basically via showing your card (I show my virtual iPhone Delta Diamond Card).
