EML and Boarding Priority
I haven't taken B6 before so I don't know how this works. Does EML secure you pre-boarding or group 1 boarding? If not, how's the overhead situation typically for those who have used the product?
Thx

EML alone does not secure you a preboard unless you have small children or special needs. The overhead space just works out. The FA's are pretty watchful that someone doesn't throw their luggage in the first couple of overheads then trot back to row 20.

I fly B6 EML quite a bit, and I've never had a problem getting my bag in the overhead bin. The FAs close the bins over the front 5 rows, and make sure no one tries to open them unless they are sitting in an EML seat. Plenty of times I've boarded and had a completely empty bin to put my stuff in.

Agreed with the above comments. It seems that overhead space is never really an issue on JetBlue flights - sure, the completely sold out flights tend to get some gate checks, but very few compared to what I see on other airlines. I think this has to do with the fact there there are only 150 seats (on the A320), and of course not every flight is packed.
I see the bins over EML closed on every flight during boarding until those rows come on. Additionally, some airports pre-board the exit rows which are EML.
