$15 off with AMEX

JetBlue and American Express right now are having a promotion that nets you $15 off a one-way fare when you book via this page at JetBlue.com using your Amex card. The discounts are combinable, so you can get up to $30 off on a round-trip if both flights meet the rules of the promotion.

This offer is valid for flights between September 5, 2007 and October 31, 2007, excluding Friday and Sunday travel. The offer expires on 7/31.

Question

On what dates were you able to find EWR-FLL for $44? I'm on jetblue.com and not seeing anything close to that price?

Regular/sale fares are $59, but under this promo it drops to $44. It has to be booked with AMEX.

If I call them, will I be able to combine this $15 off with the $50 voucher from the previous AMEX promotion? The voucher says can't be used with any other offer, but has anyone tried?

When you go to pay for the booking online the only option is either Jet Blue AMEX or any American Express credit card... no voucher option shows up.

You may however redeem any Credit you had on your account. Thats what I did.

How do you do this? When I go to pay, I only see a screen where I can enter my AMEX number and then the "purchase" button.

awesome deal, to bad I already bought tickets from MCO-EWR. I thought I got a deal being only 135 dollars! Now it is only 108 with the deal.

Called in try to get a credit for a lower sale fare. After 3 CS reps (the first two hang up on me) and long hold, B6 told me to talk to AMEX because this is their promotion, not B6. B6 can only match to its only sale fare, which is more than what I paid for originally 26 hours ago.
Bottom line, no fare difference credit if you use the AMEX promotion.

Read the T&C of the promotion. You're confusing jetBlue's sale fares with a promo from a third party. JetBlue honors lower fares and credits the FULL difference to your TrueBlue account when a FARE drops, NOT when a new promotion is introduced. It's pretty nice of them to credit the difference on fares to your account, as other airlines first charge "downgrade " fees.

you're complaining about $15 bux?

last year I tried calling Jet Blue about prorating a similar situation, only this time it cost me over $2,000 bux... Remember the companion flies free promo? My new Jet Blue AMEX arrived about a week after the promo was over.
