Jfk-ord

This morning I was pricing out flights JFK-ORD for an upcoming conference in Chicago during the first week of May. When doing so, I notice that most carriers were cheaper than JetBlue. UA and CO were $138 out of EWR (the airport I'm closest to), ATA was $132 out of LGA, while B6 was $89 each way plus tax. $70+/- more than everyone else for essencially the same flights? This leads me to one of two conclusions and one question: Either the flights have been doing really well that they can charge more or some one has been rather careless in their pricing structure. This brings me to my question (other than asking someone to verify that they actually have been doing well with their ORD flights), can I expect to see a sale soon or maybe utilize a promo code which I'm not currently aware of?

What is the competition charging to/from JFK? It is not uncommon to see varying fares for airports located in the same metropolitan area.

I am seeing flights for $59 each way, or $138.80 with tax. Departing the 1st - 4rd of May, and returning the 2nd-5th.

Strange. I'm going May 1-3. When I ran it yesterday, everything it came up $89 each way. I'll probably book it now will the fares are still cheap. Thanks.
