Seat Maps

Is there any way to see what the seat map looks like (which seats are open)w/o logging in and making believe you want to book that flight

with DL,AA or UA you just click Seats and you can view it and decide which flight you want or to go with another carrier since the open seats arent what you are interested in

As a huge fan of ExpertFlyer, I have to say its worth far more than the $5/month for the basic membership.

Actually, Im not sure what youre looking at. By going to the web site, you dont need to log in if you just put the route and date in and bring up the search results, you will be able to click on the seat map for each flight before proceeding with booking.

This applies to both the new and old web interfaces. On the old interface you hit view seats and on the new interface you hit details

Huh, you're right! We never noticed that before. Thanks for pointing it out!

To clarify, it's on the right-hand side of the screen where you choose your flight in the same row as the flight number.

PS--We wholeheartedly agree on the value of ExpertFlyer.

thx, I tried and still couldnt get it, I knew you werent playing around, so after playing around I found the Key. I always clicked on the amount in pts and that brings you to a pop-up to accept the fare or pay up for a higher fare. After playing around it seems a person has to click onto the V to the right of the pts posted (probably $ as well on a rev tkt) and wholla Seat Map shows up

THX!!!

Seat 9C/D on the 320

does anyone know if these seats recline?. SG says that the A/F dont due to the Exit behind. But on many Carriers the whole row in front of the exit wont recline. Hate to end up in a non reclining seat

If they do recline it is very limited. I haven't sat in row 9 in a few years and even then I was in 9A (last minute thing... and it was a transcon ). I would try to get a different row.

Thx for the prompt reply. LoL, Im already in a different row was thinking of moving up as the flight seems to be close to being full, so I thought if I moved there would be apx 30 less people ahead of me to get off. Will stay put now.

speaking of this, does anyone know a website that can show the load for the B6 flights? in the past or future, if possible. I was just wondering how many people daily are flying JFK-GYE and back again. thanks
