New Website

why did they have to ticker with what wasnt broken! I loved it when both Outbound and Inbound flights were on the same page, that way if the date I was looking at was more then I was willing to pay $ or pts wise I could see in a sec the day before or after and in a sec see what was available for the return on different dates. Now I hav eto keep going back an dforth to keep comparing the results. Youd think they would have better places to spend the little money thats coming in

I remember when TWA came up with its new paint job and asked me what I thought I told them the truth I couldnt
care 1 bit what the outside of the plane looks like and the money could have been spent fixing up the interiors where I see everything for hours. But they were only interested in putting lipstick on a pig , like that would change the pig into another animal.

I wouldn't have minded if they actually fixed the most glaring problem--which right now is booking a multi segment flight. It still does not allow one to choose the fare type. So now instead of having one glaring problem, we have a confusing mess involving multiple clicks to figure out which flights have which fares available and what the seat maps look like. Oh well, hopefully they will either revert back to the old system or come up with a booking tool that actually works well. One thing they could do to shake up the market on flights to Europe is offer all fares as one ways without a ridiculous up charge. If they are not planning to do that, they really need to fix the website to allow things like Mint one way and core the other--especially given their current schedule which requires an overnight on the return for most connecting itineraries--and thus requires the use of the non-functional multi-city booking tool.

Another positive consequence (NOT) you cant see what seats are available until you fill in all your personal info, when before there was a 'seats" button you could click. So if you didnt see a seat that worked for you , all you did was click on 'seats' to any other flight that may work for you. Now you need to spend alot more time and if theres only 1 or 2 seats left at the fare youre looking at , you may lose it by the time you wasted your time checking what the load looks on the other flights. What the heck was B6 thinking!?

There's a seat map button. It's not obvious that it's a button, but it's there.

diburning, thx it took me 10 mins of playing around till I finally found how you got that page to appear, seems you need to click the downward pointing arrow, but its still a pain as you hav eto each flight 1 by 1. while the old way all you had to do was click "Seats" on the main pg and not click onto each and every flight 1 by 1.

I guess its better then nothing but still requires alot more time chose a flight if any at all. I guess to B6 a step backwards is a mark of progress

B6 definitely needs to up their game with the booking engine and interface. Defaulting multi-segment flight searches to only provide pricing for a basic economy fare is really bad. Most people doing complicated itineraries are going to be looking at other fare types including Mint and are not going to want to be on a basic economy fare. They are really throwing revenue away by making it difficult for people to quickly book the flight/seat/fare they want. Hopefully they will fix it soon.

What an awful website. I gave up quite frankly.

I was looking to book LHR-JFK-SFO return in Mint. Only offered economy on the entire trip.

Ditto a trip to ORD and one to DC. Yes I’m willing to be in economy for the short hops but not on the TATL leg

Only trip I could potentially book was a long weekend in New York but im not sure I’ll even give them that.

So Jet Blue your awful, awful, awful website had cost you revenue of a few thousand quid.
