WHY does it take so long for points to post?

Take the dollar value of the base fare (not taxes or fees), and multiply that by 3 to get your Mosaic qualifying points. The number you get from this calculation should be a hair below what you actually get, because some of the mandatory fees earn points, and some don't, but I haven't been able to figure out which ones.

My last flight on Delta (last month took until the next day to post. But, it normally does post very quickly.

What is the normal processing time?
I am still waiting for last week's flight to post.
Personally I think anything > 48 hours is excessive now compared to the competition...

Is two weeks until miles post still a regular occurrence for JetBlue?
My flight will have been 14 days ago tomorrow, and no sign of my return flight activity.
My flight from home to destination posted within a few days, while I was still traveling over the holiday weekend. They were booked as two separate one way journeys, however.
