Atlanta is back! [30-Mar-17 launch]

News out this morning was headlined "Boston" but the big news is 5x daily BOS-ATL service starting 30 Mar 2017. JFK, FLL & MCO will see service as well, though no details announced on those.

BOS-SFO gets another frequency and MBJ/STT go year-round, too.

Full B6 release at: http://otp.investis.com/clients/us/j...o0qMREPh.dpuf; other links to my version of the story.

Good to see more BOS expansion, but wish it was MSP. I could escape DL for trips to the midwest

Only for ATL-BOS begins on March 2017

Later on, they will added ATL-JFK/MCO/FLL in late-2017.

Look out for real official release!!
Nice! Hope that this time in ATL lasts.

That would be terrific! I'd love to pay less than $500 RT for once.

I also predict that if ATL goes well, LAX-ATL will be next on the list.

^^^ This time they will get better. Last time, they tried this in the past and they pulling out of ATL completely. Because of this, way too much competition against Delta & AirTran.

I agree with that. I doubt you will see ATL-LAX. Probably not for a while.

Looks like the schedule has been tweaked a bit since the announcement. I'm flying out on the inaugural flight 397, and returning same day on 796 which is scheduled at 8:10PM out of ATL now.

If anyone else here is flying that inaugural flight and wants to meet up, let me know!

Is the inaugural flight the one that departs Boston at 6am?

Thanks! I'm very tempted to do this as there is a Yankees exhibition game in ATL the next day however, it does require me to get from NY-BOS the night before so not sure I want to deal with the added hotel expense and such.

I'll let you know.

Yikes. Looks like Delta has reared their ugly head again.

Uh-oh! Smell the trouble again. No gates available. I think they will have postponed it. I'm afraid that they won't be launch to Atlanta for a while.

they are just complaining to try to get a better situation. There is no way they postpone it after already selling this many tickets (with presumably many corporate client)

I'm hoping (and expecting) for JetBlue to simply operate as scheduled, and use what they have in the meantime, while they drag the airport through court for breach of contract.

Yes, I think they will resolved it as quick as possible. If they have gate space availability. If they choose the entire concourse D or E gates.
