Thanks for the update with photos, now I get to see what I might be having on an upcoming flight.

You're welcome! First time I flew anything since end of January. My March and May trips were all cancelled.

Judging by how the container comes covered, and the ice crystals on your ice cream, they're not handling it the same way anymore.

At Boston, in the past, the scoops of ice cream would be placed by the caterer (ABM) directly into a container of dry ice, with different containers for each flavor. The FA would then pick the ice cream balls out of the container with tongs and plate them (which is why the ice cream comes out rock hard).

Now, it looks like the ice cream is pre-plated at ABM's kitchen (which, if at BOS, is off-site), and is trucked over and loaded onto the plane, where somewhere along the way, condensation is able to form inside the container to cause those ice crystals to form.

My pleasure! Don’t know when I’ll be flying again.

The Mint cabin flight attendants on my two flights were great! I have to figure out how to send a compliment on JetBlue’s webpage.

Look under "share a concern"; it's worded poorly but you can submit cabin crew compliments there

What did you think of the maple chicken? I had it and the flavor was odd. On the positive side, the Mint cabin crew was lovely.

Noteworthy that this menu ended in September. New menus for Oct/Nov are up on the B6 website.

Great, thanks!

Oct/Nov menus don't do much for me. However the Kosher menus look absolutely mouth-watering.

Personally I think the westbound menu looks pretty decent. The eastbound looks so-so.

Eastbound lunch/dinner doesn’t appeal to me at all. Before COVID-19, you could get one of the EatUp sandwiches instead, or if you’re hungry. Don’t know if that’s still an option now. Guess I’ll try to push a return flight into December. LOL

Ironically, that's the only standard menu that actually appeals to me. The brick chicken is a returning dish that happens to be pretty good (slightly modified). I've also heard good things about the shrimp & grits in the past.

Does anyone know how they determine which routes have the Shuteye menu and which have the normal lunch/dinner options? The times they list are overlapping.

We are taking flight 278 SFO - FLL departs at 11:30pm

All times are GMT -6. The time now is 7:25 am.
