... https://cimg2.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...ff45edf726.jpg PDB, even though I boarded less than 10 minutes before departure! https://cimg3.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...05407c623d.jpg Smoked salmon and spinach frittata. They were miscatered so I had an unknown Chardonnay instead of the Sauvignon Blanc. The Chardonnay was not impressive. https://cimg4.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...1cc6f097b1.jpg Unbranded cold cookie as the parting pleasantry. AS spoiled me with their baked-omboard cookies. I also do not like the current "hot sauce" at all. It simply isn't hot sauce :td: -J. |

I thought the food was good but it didn't blow me away like in the past, though the salmon was fresh and tasty. I didn't love how thin the bagel chips were as they kept breaking up with the cream cheese.
(B6's PDB game is stellar - maybe because they can step into the suites and navigate up and down the aisle whilst economy boards? Disinterested AA crews on 16/20F aircraft rarely bother, in my most recent experiences). |

I agree the salmon was the highlight and super fresh - and yes, the paper thin bagel chips collapse with any sort of tension. Makes it a messy delight!

Assuming they serve it. They did not on my recent Mint flight, and we were not delayed.

PDBs are supposed to be served on all Mint flights with no exceptions other than delayed catering. While they can bring around a tray of pre-poured beverages, the standard is that a full bar is offered so you should be able to ask for other beverages on request in this instance. If they didn't do PDBs I would encourage you to write in as that is a selling point of the Mint Experience.
-J. While Mint is designed to offer enhanced comfort and service, some elements may vary due to timing, safety requirements, or onboard availability. Pre‑departure drinks, meal presentation details, and snack area items are commonly offered, but they aren’t guaranteed on every flight. When items are limited, our crew is available to assist with beverage requests. |

I did write it in, and here's the excerpt of their response:
I guess it wasn't mint to be. -J. |
I flew Mint last week from JFK to SFO on a morning flight. No inflight amenity kit at any seat. I asked for one and the FA told me they only provide them on red eye flights now? He came back a few minutes later and said he found one from the previous flight.
Also no Parting Pleasantry offered. but they did come by with the snack basket from the back. Is this true about the amenity Kits I thought they were by request now? |

I will write in- that is my thought FA did not want to put the kits out nor provide parting pleasantry.
Disappointing. |

Just flew Mint on a breakfast flight
We had headphones, amenity kit, water, and bedding at each seat. Only PDB was OJ but could order what we want in flight. Lead FA did a really good non-alcoholic Mint Condition. The highlight was the smoked salmon even if the lone crisp shattered when you took a bite. The eggs needed flavor and Bread Pudding was meh. Multiple passes of snack basket and Chocolate covered cashews offered about 30 minutes prior to landing. |

https://cimg0.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...312f9e7c74.jpg Full-bar PDBs - though only after we finished boarding and had rolling delays for an additional 90 minutes. You might call them "pre-deicing beverages" https://cimg1.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...9275b1da80.jpg Orange wine and Tantos! puffed pasta garbage https://cimg2.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...2dca7ca8d8.jpg Escarole salad (hold the croutons), roast chicken, gelato with toppings on the side, warm bread and butter https://cimg3.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...b6e22350d7.jpg Pre-arrival beverage and Hu Hunks ($3.99 at CVS) SAN-JFK, February 2026, Shuteye https://cimg4.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...3cd02381ef.jpg Celery root soup and a glass of seltzer. I asked for the soup on its own specifically without the tray. https://cimg5.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...94c262c9da.jpg Breakfast to-go bag with banana bread, Brooklyn Roasting oatmilk latte beverage product, previously-frozen freshly squeezed orange juice, Hu Hunks ($3.99 at CVS) -J. |
Return flight on XLR. The seat is so much nicer than the older Mint seat although I think everyone who had not been on that type of plane before missed the shoulder harness until FA made announcement.
Eastbound Continental US Lunch/Dinner PDB - "Champagne" or Seltzer only Starter - So much for rotating selection Bread - Not cold, but not warmed so it was still soft inside Salad - Completely adequate. Dislike the fact that they kept the butt end on the greens. Pasta - Definitely had a kick that I enjoyed Shrimp - Overcooked, but tasted good when you mixed the optional "hot sauce" with the aioli Ice Cream - They really waited to serve so it had started to melt (which wasn't the worst thing in the world) and fruit topping was not as cloyingly sweet as other options No parting item though I didn't really need it. I think one of the FA's working Mint was being trained as she often didn't know where things were and everything was one seat at a time which made things take forever to get through the higher number of mint seats on the XLR and the trainer really wasn't helping to expedite the service (as if she was just sitting in the galley giving instruction or just handling the heating/plating and leaving the other FA to do all of the rest) |

Just to clarify, it was likely a LR (A321NX/LR) - JetBlue does not operate the XLR (A321NY). Additionally, JetBlue does not conduct training on live Mint flights. Sounds like you just had a clueless FA :p
