The nuts were served chilled. I don't think they are designed to be reheated. The quality is the same as the ones sold in Costco. While it was not a big deal, it was just another "step down"! Disappointing. The crews were pretty bad and I was only offered either fruits or ice cream!

I was recently told that crews had specific instructions to not warm the nuts. Major downgrade IMO.

Too bad about the crew. I know many of the OBLs and it definitely seems that the quality of who works in Mint has significantly declined over the last 2-3 years.

Two of my all-time favorites for the brunch menu. IIRC the biscuit sandwich was one of the original menu items when Mint first started, though back then it had actual cheddar (instead of pimento cheese) and sausage (and was also served on Shuteye flights before landing).

Plane Eats Menus?

I'm looking at upcoming December menus and feeling rather uninspired. Was thinking of pre-ordering Plane Eats, but those menus haven't been updated since summer. Does anyone know if those menus are still the ones in rotation? Any feedback on them? Chef's salad, mac and cheese, burger (eastbound, lunch/dinner) doesn't sound so bad ...

I took Mint both ways to the west coast last week. So I got the breakfast menu going out and dinner menu coming back. The breakfast was good, but I thought dinner was better. Or it could just be that it’s hard for me to eat so much food so early in the morning. Btw - they served the salt and pepper cashews prior to the dinner service and I’m pretty sure they were warmed. Or at least room temperature. They weren’t cold.

The burger is tiny but tasty. I posted a pic of the plane eats lunch offering in this thread. https://www.flyertalk.com/forum/29559618-post135.html

Those are one of few styles of nuts that I don't think would be so great warmed. I still miss the old tastings.
