It was only set up for O&D and LGB connectors. It was not very smart how they timed it, but it was an effect of the increased "out-and-back" flying with the goal of reducing network-related delays.

ANC truly died when JetBlue Cargo died. How it stuck around this long without cargo is a mystery (maybe a miracle).

Unfortunately for us, they didn't put the seasonal Second nonstop to LGB back on the schedule

I had always wanted to fly this route but agree the timing was awful. I'll do a cruise instead.

Right. They tried and it didn't workout so well. DL, AS has already won. They has done very well, I believe they still flies SEA-ANC all year-round long.

Delta and Alaska both fly SEA-ANC multiple times daily. Alaska also flies PDX-ANC 2-3x daily.

Right! Also DL still flies LAX-ANC during summer seasonal. I would assume they will return for next summer 2020.

Did anyone else notice they did a schedule change within the past 10-14 days? I though their schedule was locked in once released like WN?

Well definitely not locked in since I have experienced multiple schedule changes to my Christmas week trip that I booked when tickets first went on sale. Some are annoying changes - push my evening flight even later so we now arrive at 1am, but make the change just short of what would allow me to change without a fee, make the return earlier when there are no seats left on other flights so I am screwed etc.

Just last week my January San Juan to Boston flight was moved to a different flight 2 hours earlier. I "chatted" with them and got them to put me on the flight only 1 hour earlier, so they definitely did move some things around

I think the additional LAX frequency probably takes its place. There is no love lost between JetBlue and LGB these days.

Not for sure, but based on past announcements as seen in the wiki, probably towards the end of March or early April.
