Agreed. The conversations I've had with folks in the company suggest that it is highly likely to happen. No guarantees that it will be identical to last year's program but there is almost certainly going to be something going on.

Any updates on this? Last year AYCJ was announced on August 13th (I remember, because it was my birthday and was the perfect present). I know that many of my friends and I are very eager to hear of this year's promotion and what might happen with it. Thanks!

Wirelessly posted (BlackBerry9630/5.0.0.591 Profile/MIDP-2.1 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 VendorID/105)

Interesting conversation with some airline folks today about the concept of "fare leading." Turns out that it is illegal to announce a fare for travel if you are not actually selling it. Based on that I would not expect to hear anything formal until it is really for sale. So I would not expect to hear anything about price point or dates until it is really happening.

And my last contact with folks at JetBlue says that it is still quite likely to happen. ^

Thanks, sbm12. The concept of not allowing "fare leading" totally makes sense. I guess we will just find out when/if it is announced! Glad to hear that it is probably going to happen.
