SEA-JFK in August
$240 for overnight trip on 8/28/2010. Is it too early to book the air tickets? Looks like most promotion is valid for 6/20/2010. Will summer trip be more expensive or wait for promos?

If that is a roundtrip ticket I would buy it now. If the price goes down you can call and get a credit .

$240 n/s is not a bad fare at all. As long as your plans are firm and you don't mind paying for a flight 5 months out, book it. Besides, if the fare drops any (minimally if it does), they will give you a credit to be used for future flights as long as you ask for it.
