I had no idea there were that many varieties. Now for the important question - how many are available in vending machines?

Last time I was over, you could still get beer in vendos. Had to go to an actual store for sake. I thought I was just not finding them.

I haven't seen the beer vending machines around here for quite some time...I think the law was changed.

Another "very" warm day today, 20+ right now! Lots of blooms. The weekend will also see high temps, wind and rain.

We've lost to the weather. The hanami has been postponed by a week, so I'll miss it.

If any of you see a short gaijin wandering around Tokyo tomorrow with a sign taped to his back saying something along the lines of "私はうう男です", please come and say "hello" (and don't make fun of me!)...

Interesting, perhaps it's a regional law?

Red face

Indeed. They also have this warning sticker on them saying that nobody under the age of 20 is permitted to consume alcohol. :P But then we know how the police here in Japan are about that, underage drinking.

Still plenty around here too. Pretty pointless though when you've got convenience stores every kilometre or so selling cold ones cheaper.
