Iad
Having transfered through the toilet that is IAD today, I just wanted to confirm that any terminal at NRT is paradise in comparison.
IAD - took two hours to transfer from my international arrival to a domestic flight. One long wait in an immigration line (easily the equal of anything that people suffer at NRT). One ridiculous discussion with an immigration officer about the words "Yokoso and Sayonara" - and then I had to remind him of the SOP (i.e. finger prints and photo) for arriving non-US citizens. Two tedious trips, standing up in mobile lounges. One hideous restroom break. No time for a coffee...
I should say one positive thing about IAD - It doesn't make false promises - "Welcome to Washington's dullest airport" (or should that be "Washington's direst airport"?).
Perhaps I should pronounce IAD as "Iya da"
