Kyoto Ryokan?

I've used the search feature for this forum but really haven't found what I'm looking for. Can anyone recommend an upscale, but not outrageous ryokan in Kyoto. Ideally tatami mat, futon type place with ensuite facilities (communal bath ok) and a good restaurant to have dinner / breakfast in the room? I looked at KI-NRT's excellent post, but the 2 recommended Kyoto ryokans are a little over the top. Thanks

Ryokans are generally not for me, but this place is a good mid-range option: https://www.ohanabo.com/en/

I've found that the $$$$ "luxury" Ryokans are generally a terrible value--particularly with the recent improvement in the Kyoto luxury hotel market.
