Not sure I understand, what exactly are you trying to do? Go from KIX to NRT and back on Jetstar?

If the flights are available, I don't see why this wouldn't be doable. I was thinking there might be an unknown I didn't see that includes an international leg or something. Domestic to domestic drops you in to the terminal, so you can head to the other gate for the next flight.

I've been scanning through the thread and hoping to get clarification. I'm going to Seoul in June from Seattle and there are no good award flights atm. Since I can normally find availability on JAL I was thinking about booking a ticket to Tokyo and then have a separate ticket Tokyo <-> Seoul.
What I'm trying to figure out is, which airlines and airports should I consider if I want to avoid going through immigration (not checking a bag)? My current understanding is that this isn't possible in HND, so I want to fly into NRT terminal 2/3 and then fly out of 2/3 (does it need to be the same)? |

Airside transit on separate tickets is possible in both Haneda and Narita. Just make sure you don't get to change airports. Incheon mainly connects to Narita, and Gimpo only connects to Haneda.

Thanks for replying, are there any terminal restrictions I need to worry about?

All international flights in Haneda are currently in T3, Narita has airside transit between the terminals. Not too frequent though, so need to buffer a good bit.
The trip takes about 8 to 12 minutes. |

According to the schedule on the Narita-Airport website, the airside interterminal buses between NRT T1 and NRT T2 operate every 20 to 30 minutes for most of the day, and every 40 minutes after 7 PM.
The trip takes about 8 to 12 minutes. |
What does an I-I connection at HND T3 look like? I am considering doing a self-connection (2 tickets). The inbound flight from Korea will come into T3 and I will connect to DL at T3. No checked bags.
How long should I reserve? Is there passport control or a security check to reenter the departures area? Thanks. |

On a good day, transit security will be a couple of minutes, at a bad time, 30 minutes or more. If you avoid the morning or afternoon big arrival banks it should probably be on the shorter side. |
I have a question about an INTL to INTL connection at NRT Terminal 1 (South Wing) coming up...
Flying BKK-NRT-DEN in Premium Economy on the same ticket; booked through United but the first leg is ANA. The ANA app just shows the first flight, but the United app shows both. I was told that ANA will be able to see my full itinerary when they check me in at BKK, and they can thru-check my bag. Will they be able to print my NRT-DEN boarding pass in BKK? Or will I have to get it at the NRT transfer desk? Also, how is transfer security around 3:30 pm? I have a 75-minute connection, but it seemed safe due to sitting near the exit and the BKK-NRT flight's good on-time performance; will likely arrive at the 50s gates and depart from the 30s gates. I've been to NRT before but only as an O&D pax. Thanks for the help! |
