Whisky is also quite a thing in Vietnam. Maybe they are bringing it back for the bosses?

Definitely reselling. I still recall the scenes back in March'2022 when it was a Hibiki21 free for all at Fasola. Each one buying 6-8 bottles.

Not whisky but I picked up 12 bottles of Mori Izo today on my JAL flight. They raised the price to ¥3400 from ¥3000.

I always pack my backpack in a carryon so I have an extra bag with wheels in case I buy alcohol at the airport.

Those are 15ml so still quite more than I kinda want to pay. My local bar charges Y3700 for a shot (30ml) of Hibiki 21.
