NRT-SIN-NRT in F?
I was wondering if anyone would be able to help me. I am looking to travel from NRT-SIN-NRT in F next July/Aug on JL 719/710. The JL website indicates that the 747 which provides the 3 class service will be changing to a 2 class 777 in April 2008. Does anyone have any information on this?
Thank you.

I checked into this. Information is as follows:
1. Yes, there is to be an aircraft change in April 2008 with JL719/710.
Original aircraft of B747-400 (Configuration L17) to B777-200ER
(Configuration W50).
2. B777-200ER will be dual class and will not have first class. W50
configuration will be 56 Shell Flat Seats and 212 economy seats.
I hope this helps.

I'm on JL719 on 11/10. For months the flight had been showing 744 but now it shows 773. We are four people traveling in F and I had booked the 4 seats in the nose cone of the 744. I was not even aware that JL had a three-class 773! Curiously, most JL719 flights (but not all) before and after 11/10 show the flight being served by the 744. Is this really an equipment sub or some kind of data entry error? Thanks for your help.

I just confirmed with JAL that both our flights (JL719 on the 773 and JL710 on the 744) have changed configurations from the traditional SkySleeper First seats to the Skysleeper Solo seats. Up to now it was my understanding that the Solo seats were only available on JAL's extra-longhaul routes? Interesting...
