Does JAL release its new schedule every January?

We're considering a trip next May and wondering if additional flights will become available in January, as they did this past January.

Winter schedule is announced. This is on top of the new MEL, KOA routes and HND-LHR frequency increase. Nothing too exciting.

- TYO-SIN JL035/038/711/712, HND-PVG JL085/086 will be upgraded from SS6 to SS2 from Dec 1 2017
- NRT-GUM JL941/942 will be upgraded from 767-300ER to SS6 from Dec 1 2017
- HND-PEK JL025/020 767-300ER -> 787-8 between Oct 29 2017 and Mar 24 2018
- NRT-TPE JL809/802 787-8 -> 767-300ER between Oct 29 2017 and Mar 24 2018
- NRT-DEL JL748/740 SS8 -> SS9 from Oct 29 2017, then downgraded to SS9 II from Dec 1 2017
- NRT-CGK JL729/720 SS6 -> SS8 with PY service between Oct 29 and Nov 30 2017
- NRT-HKG JL735/736 787-8 -> SS9 with PY service from Dec 1 2017
- HND-BKK JL033/032 777-200ER -> 787-8 from Dec 1 2017
- HND-PEK JL869/860 73H -> SS6 between Feb 1 and Mar 24 2018

and for the MRers, HND-ISG will finally get the 73H upgrade
