Essentially, the gamble is that the rules change at the end of March/beginning of April. If they don't you will be really restricted in what you can do. We're in Italy now and our Italian friends who have not gotten vaccinated have been really restricted since December (when the Super Green Pass was established). Instead of going out, we've had to have them over for dinner, etc. There is some suspicion that things will get looser in April but it is a gamble.

The government issued the latest decree relative to COVID-19 rules starting April 1st (hope is not an April fool's)
end of mandatory masks indoor by 30 of April
public city transportation does not require anymore the super green pass but just FFP2 masks
domestic transportation (rail, air, sea) does not require anymore the super green pass, but the basic only (vaccine or test) still mandatory the use of Ffp2 masks
restaurants and bars, no need to show the super green pass when seating outdoor but still required indoor until April 15, foreign tourist can seat indoor since April 1st with just showing a negative test proof. This part looks like the typical messy rule of Italian bureaucracy, Italians and foreigners treated differently for 15 days...
access to banks and public offices does not require anymore gree pass since April 1st, only Ffp2 masks
theaters, indoor events , super green pass until April 30 and masks
hotels and hotel restaurants, green pass and tests scrapped for all since April 1st
end of green pass and masks requirement of any kind by 1st May
