NONE, of the CET-group charge them.

So, NO resort fee at :
Caesars, Planet Hollywood, Paris, Flamingo, Harrah's, Imperial Palace, RIO, Bally's, Bill's

Seems to me, that there are quite a few rooms with NO resort fee in Vegas. (and, I ONLY touched on the CET-group)

But, don't fool yourself, NO resort fee is OFTEN NOT the best deal.

I've just got a room on January 1st under the Best Rate Guarantee (pc.com price was $40 more than their own website) - I wonder if the resort fee still applies?

My last stay couple months ago I got nothing. No upgrade (although I know it was a slow week for them)
I ask for late check out and they said no.
At check in they said I will receive points for my stay.
A couple weeks later after no points posted, they claimed the rate I booked did not qualify (I booked through the palazzo web site)

Prestige Lounge Question

Does anyone know if there are board rooms available in the Prestige Lounge?

I believe access to this club requires a casino credit line of $300,000 (they lowered it from $1,000,000 which is nice ).

Yes, as well as the caviar and anything else you might desire, like a $300 cognac shot.

Stayed at palazzo 2 weekends ago and this the FIRST time I didn't have to argue for an upgrade and late check out...

I'm not sure if it was because it was a slow weekend or something, but they actually treated me... well, as if I was at a NORMAL intercontinental!

They even sent up a huge fruit plate and water and a cupcake (it was my b-day) without asking!

I know these are stated benefits, but I've stayed here many times since they've entered the program and it's NEVER been this easy... I wonder if it was a one time fluke, or if they are finally getting it that these "perks" aren't just them doing us favors, but something we're entitled to.

Point credit for stays booked on palazzo website

I was just denied my point credit for a $129 rate I had booked on the palazzo website. It was a special rate, however no particular inclusions such as free tickets etc. Just the normal dining discounts I actually never got the vouchers for.

Now PC is claiming that the rate doesn't qualify. I thought that FTers were successful in getting points for their stays at Palazzo. Could someone tell me how they managed to do this if the stay was booked on the hotel website?

You get points for stays at palazzo and Venetian. You have to book via the IHG website. As I recall that you do not get points if you book directly via the hotels own website. Similarly it will not count as a qualifying stay/night.

Oh, on a side note, if you are not comp'ed access to the Paiza Club (ie. $300,000+ credit line), then you can still get in with an invitation from your casino host. The *huge* drawback is that you have to pay for the food/alcohol that you order (which is immensely overpriced).

More back on topic, I've never gotten priority points for stays at Venetian/Palazzo unless I booked through the IHG site (booking through expedia, Venetian.com, and southwest vacations all were listed at inelgible rates).

At $300, or for that matter any cognac really, it's not a 'shot' as such
