Hey, neat trick! 
Much as I am pleased to see this extension I am disappointed to observe that some rates I have been monitoring (and hesitated to book because they are several months hence and non-refundable) have suddenly jumped up. The IC Chicago rate is now about the same as I can book at Trump Chicago for the same size room - and the Trump reservation can be cancelled.
I hope this isn't a general trend with the F&F offer.

I notice that the rate code IVFF2 appears in the URL when looking at making a booking, but it is still IVFF1 when you are directed from the welcome page. I wonder if the FF2 rates are new, and have been tweaked by some places, to your detriment.

Stayed at several properties on F&F during my recent trip to Thailand & DXB. Maybe it's interesting for somebody:
HI BKK --> not qualifying, no points, full platinum benefits received
IC BKK --> not qualifying, no points, full ambassador benefits received
HI DXB (Downtown) --> not qualifying, no points, 'only' upgrade received regarding platinum benefits
IC DXB (Festival C.) --> 2 qualifying nights, base- and bonuspoints received, full ambassador benefits received & was able to use a BOGO cert (although I booked a suite)
ALL properties wanted to see the voucher!

Problems with faf promo?
I am wondering if anyone has used this promo, and if so were there any probs?
I want to book for Rome, Italy and don't want to arrive to problems. I recently got walked from a faf promo with Fairmont.
