IHG credit card - elite qualifying points.

Hello,

Been a spire Elite (or diamond now I suppose) for about a decade now. One thing is the IHG credit card points are always elite qualifying. Last month we spent about a week at an IHG resort. It was great. Miles post from the credit card and they are not elite qualifying. What gives? Is this some new "enhancement" due to the switch to diamond?

I'm out about 70k in elite qualifying points so I'm kind of peeved.

Thanks!

new rule since March. credit card points are no long EQP. however, you could be diamond for 40k spend on IHG premier card

Points on UK IHG Credit Cards (issued by Creation) are still elite qualifying.
