IHG Homepage Problems (Login / Reservations / Cancelations / and more))

Just completed a booking, no issues on this end
IHG lets me login, it lets me choose a hotel and a room using my free night certificate, but when it should show me the page where I enter credit card information, it takes me back to the login page. If I was in the business of getting people to give me money on a web site, I would make it easy for people to give me money at my web site--and making it easy for people to redeem offers that I gave them would be part of the cost of doing business.

In any event I don't see how that could possibly make any difference. The IHG web server has no way of determining the type of connection at the client end, and my browser & OS don't behave differently based on whether I'm connected via WiFi, cellular, or hardline.

It's entirely possible for the network environment to be totally different dependent on the interface being used.Originally Posted by beltway

I have exactly this same problem. I have tried Firefox, Chrome, and Edge, and also going incognito--but I still cannot bring up the login screen to enter my user name and pw. Everything else on the IHG site works: I can bring up the "Join" link. I can change the language. I can make a reservation (though not with my account). But I am absolutely not able to get to the login screen. I was on the phone for 30 minutes with IHG Ambassador. They don't know what may be causing the problem. Curiously when I experienced this same problem in May 2022, I was informed that because IHG was switching from Rewards Club to One Rewards, there might be some problems with the website. Then everything worked fine for several months--until now.

As youll see from the discussion upthread, this has been a recurring issue for multiple people, including me. AFAIK, none of us has ever found a workaround. The semi-good news is that normal functionality returns after a day or two at most.
Right now its working fine for me (Safari/iPadOS). I am tempting Fate by saying this.
