Just had one tell me "don't bother" when asked about an Indigo--said their rate was $50 more than the membership rate on the website.

the L&L rate is usually the non member best flexible rate so yes would be more expensive than say the “book early and save member rate” but then you need to work out if the difference in cost is worth the L&L benefits as well as things like the book early rate may be non refundable whereas the BFR is.

I’ve done bookings where I’ve decided that the L&L rate has been worth it and others where it isn’t.

This really is the 5th night free and not an average of the 5 nights.

I messed up some of my calculations thinking it was the former not the latter.

Easiest way to price this up is to do a dummy booking for the first 4 nights of the stay using the non member BFR.

@bcosinteno ... so the two IC properties in Bali are not partcipating this year? The IC Bali Resort was definitely part of the programme last year.

I cant see any Luxuxy and lifestyle loaded for all 2023 for IC hanoi westlake or IC hanoi Landmark - which is very disappointing.

IHG hotels are often at 7/10% on cashback website, not unusual to find 12% cashback

I see this program interesting only to book these properties on very low season or if without any IHG status. Maybe also for 2 days stays

What do you mean by 'loaded'?

These rates aren't sold directly by IHG so won't ever appear when searching the IGH (ot OTA) site..

You need to book these rates via a lux life agent.

100 USD hotel credit from IHG Luxury & Lifestyle is not stackable with 20 USD Ambassador Credit.

InterContinental Kaohsiung doesn’t allow benefit stacking. They also didn’t give me an option of welcome amenity, they just gave me a drink voucher without asking.

IHG still has a problem with “Annual Lounge Membership” not being attached to reservations. You still have to show the app, unless the front desk agent looks into your profile for eligibility or asks for the voucher itself from your app.

Contacting the hotel proper to arrival is ideal, as the IHG IT department has issues.

I got both at a Luxury & Lifetstyle stay at the IC Bali last year, so this may just be an issue with the IC Kaohsiung.
