For newcomers to IHG promotions, note that Holiday Inn Express and Holiday Inn (including Holiday Inn Resorts) are two different brand categories for these things. If your dashboard says 'stay at a Holiday Inn Express' as one of the tasks and you stay at a Holiday Inn, it will NOT credit for the Holiday Inn Express task. (and vice versa)
At IHG, points + cash stays are simply points stays where you bought some of the points at the time of the reservation. Once you finish the reservation, a points + cash stay shows as a points stay. Thus points + cash stays only count for tasks where they are specified, and not other tasks.

Please read the T&Cs yet again. IHG considers Holiday Inn Express a totally separate brand from Holiday Inn. For a task that requires you stay at 3 Holiday Inn Hotels, Holiday Inn Express doesn't count! Similarly, for a task that requires you to stay at Holiday Inn Express hotels ("Stay Smart" task), Holiday Inn doesn't count.
It should spell all this out in the T&Cs for the "Stay at 3 Holiday Inn® hotel(s)" task.

I thought when they said "different Holiday Inn® hotels", they are including all their brands.
I must have mixed up IHG as a whole and the Holiday Inn brand(s).

What's wrong with a .me address?
I do apologize if I came across as having not read the T&Cs.
I was wondering because they counted my first stay's night for the "Stay More, Earn More" task, but not the "Change Your View" task.
Under "Stay More, Earn More", I currently have 2 completed nights out of 3. But under "Change Your View", I only have 1 completed stay out of 3.
I stayed in two different hotels for the two nights and they were of different brands too (HIE and HI).
Seemingly, the tasks have different terms internally which isn't reflected on the T&C pages.

One of my offers is the Globetrotter Bonus, saying "Earn 14,400 bonus points for staying at 3 IHG hotel(s) outside of your country of residence. You’ll earn for one hotel stay per country. Terms"
So far I've stayed in 3 countries outside of my residence,, USA, Northern Ireland and England, but they say only 2.
They cannot consider Northern Ireland and England as the same country right?

I did have a stay in January at Hotel Indigo in Edinburgh on January 6th, however no bonus points have posted. The stay has registered against the 11 nights target. Has this happened to anyone else?

Northern Ireland is technically not a country it is a Province. But i would assume for the purposes of this promotion the country is the UK. However a Yes vote in the next Scottish Indy ref, would make meeting this target far easier for UK residents in the future

Agree on the Northern Ireland/United Kingdom recognition. It's no different than claiming stays in two states in the USA, or two provinces in Canada, would count.

As far as dashboard, same thing for me. No Jan bonus and two other offers not completed, though they are. They had a big glitch not that long ago. Maybe the fix didn't quite fix it all. Funny, in another post, I suggested we be patient while they fixed that last issue, but looks like there is another issue that we may have to make an effort for. I'll send them a note about the missing Jan bonus and about the others. Maybe some others should too, to make sure they know about it. They probably do. Sorry, that's my IT background talking. I like to give the benefit of the doubt on such things.

Dashboard is getting a little better. 5 of my 6 items are showing progress or completed, however the Book and Stay once in January has disappeared from the dashboard despite the fact I did complete it, without getting credit. And the regular book once and stay once hasn't posted despite the fact that it recognized multiple hotel stays in January on other parts of the dashboard.

Suggest you call the customer service center in your region and ask. An app is not the same as the mobile site unless the T&Cs of that particular task say so. Post your response please.
