Points for lounge access at ICs
Anyone know if points should be awarded for spend on lounge access at ICs?
I had a reward stay at IC London PL last week and paid for club lounge access at £78. Its posted at 0 points in my IHG account. I wouldnt usually be too bothered but I'm 1k short on points requored for an upcoming stay.

As per the T&Cs:
'Hotels may choose to award points for other charges at their discretion.'
This does not mean that you have an entitlement to points because another hotel gives you points. If you get them, be happy, if not, it's their decision. IHG has no authority to intervene, unless they change the T&Cs.
These extra points are considered 'non-qualifying for elite status' unless the hotel incorrectly posts them. In that case, IHG can reverse the status of those points.

You were lucky - the hotel can award points for it if it chooses to, but there is no entitlement to points for such a purchase.
For the OP, there is nothing incorrect in the hotel giving 0 points for the £78 purchase
