Foreclosure for HI Amherst, NY
The Holiday Inn in Amherst, NY is going into foreclosure, per this article in The Buffalo News:

Is this an early indication that the hotel will be dropped from the chain by the end of the year?
Per the logo on the PC website (http://www.ichotelsgroup.com/h/d/pc/1/en/hotel/bufah), the hotel has not been refreshed.

Old school HI property built by the highway with glass enclosed outside walkways right outside your front door. Stayed a couple of times, lively bar with happy hour. Now stay at the HIE at the airport or even HI downtown Buffalo. Hate to see any property go out of business. Hopefully someone will take it over.

Hard times in Buffalo. They should close the HIX by the Galleria as its dump. All I want is a clean room folks.
