Agent Rates & NETT Fares
My partner recently got a job in the travel industry with a travel agent - they have advertised one of the benefits being access to Agent Rates and Nett fares where applicable.
Does anybody else have experience of booking these sort of fares and is there really any savings on offer? I understand each TA will have negotiated their own contracts with airlines, so it may be difficult to say - but i'd be interested just to get a rough idea of peoples experiences.
At the moment we are just looking at flights (4xBusiness Class on SQ), although i'd assume that agent rates can be made available at hotels also. Reason I ask is that i'm looking to get this booked sooner rather than later, and it may take some time to get a booking through the new employer - so if generally there isn't much of a saving i'll book directly with the airline as usual!
Edit : I see for example BA Have a whole separate site for Agent Rates (https://www.ba-agent.com/) would be interested to know if fares align with what is available to the general public.
