Hi, Need help!,
What is the best way or excuse to cancel a flight purchased with points
without a penalty with AA and West jet?

When you buy a ticket with cash money or ff points/miles they all have t&c's about cancellation.
What frequent flyer program points/miles did you use?
Very unlikely you can cancel without a penalty.

I don't understand the question. Either use the website or call the airline if you want to cancel your ticket. You may or may not be reimbursed, depending on the conditions of the tickets.
