LF help finding flight to Bangkok
Looking for help finding a flight to Bangkok from the UK (pref London, Birmingham). Leaving 23/24 Dec, looking to come back 5-7th Jan. Having trouble with google flights, for both Emirates and Thai Airways prices were about Ł300 more than what they said on Google Flights. Was going to book with Ukraine, says there available on google flights but I rang them and they are not. Most decent I have found is thai airways non stop for Ł1353 for a return. Prices seem to be crazy today.
When I try to book through google flights with Thai Airways, it comes up with this error even thought the dates are available on the site
2 ERROR(S)
No available flights were found from Monday, January 02, 2017 to Sunday, January 08, 2017. Please modify your last request and try again. (9105)
We are unable to find departing flights matching the criteria you specified. Please modify your selection and try again. (9100)
Sorry if this is the wrong sub, if it is can a mod move it to the correct one please.
Thank you

You are trying to find a last-minute ticket in peak holiday season to a popular destination. Direct flights are usually more expensive than connecting flights. On expedia I have been able to find a return flight on Jet Airways for about Ł200 less than what you quoted though a return flight involves a long layover in India. You will have to pay a little extra for a shorter layover.

If the fares are there (in google flights) try booking with the OTAs (expedia, Orbitz or whatever you have in the UK) - or try again tomorrow.
But I second the comment that you are very late at booking tickets to Thailand in high season. I doubt reasonable fares are availble now.
