Onward flights (Baggage)
I am planning a trip from Alicante Airport to Orlando.
Although the booking is said to be direct with 1 stop, this being Gatwick
I am concerned about the suite cases.
Will I need to pick these up from the carousel area & re introduce them at the onward flight booking desk, or will they be put on the plane to Orlando automatically.
Being over 72 years of age this could be time consuming being that the ongoing flight leaves in just over an hour after arriving from Alicante.
Would appreciate any advice or experiences on this matter.

Correct. If this is booked on one ticket you will drop off your bags in Alicante and will not see them again until Orlando. In Gatwick you'll go through a security check but no immigration. If this is on two different tickets you'll have to pick up your luggage, enter the UK, check in your bags again, and go through security.
