Smile Miles Statut

Hi everybody,

I do an important work for my company. I need to know what do you think about the miles statut? What do you think about the transfer of miles if you take AirFrance the monday, Delta the tuesday for exemple. Do you see what I means ? Here I take example with Skyteam, but it's the same with OneWorld or StarAlliance.

Thanks you so so much for your answer!!!

I hope somebody will understand what you're talking about, as I don't.

Also not the best idea around here to introduce yourself as "important work for my company" and just ask a random, poorly phrased question.

Welcome to Flyertalk Paulair.

I think and are asking about our opinion on the AirFrance FFP. I believe your question belongs here: Flying Blue

Good luck. Mods alerted.

No. (I doubt anyone does). While I am sure English is not your first (or second) language hard to understand what this is all about.

Effectively you cannot transfer ff miles from one ffp to another ffp.
You can earn ff miles on your airline and partner airline if an eligible mile earning flight

Welcome to Flyer Talk Paulair

You don't transfer miles between frequent flyer programs. Instead mileage can be credited for flying the partner airlines (e.g. alliance or other partner airlines) and miles can also be redeemed to fly on partner airlines.

Whilst not really condoned on FT, it might be easier if you posted your question in French and someone will translate it. I've read your post three times and I really have no idea what you're trying to say.

So,

While I don't know exactly what you're saying. I suspect you're asking for advice on accumulating points in various carriers.

You will probably achieve status in a situation where you stick to the same carrier. Carrier X and Carrier Y may both be members of the same alliance, but I would simply pick something and fly with it.

The idea that you are important in your company might all be relative. If you are trying to say that you're well paid or busy, ask your assistant or somebody within the company to book your travel and let them look after FFP. If you are booking your own international travel, or even domestic, look at picking a specific carrier. Booking with A,B and C will logically earn less status than picking A or B or C every time.

I don't get it. What airline do you primarily fly with?

Are you asking about which program to join in each alliance for easy status accrual?

Miles statut translates to tier miles on Air France. I believe the OP is asking what is the best way of managing tier miles on a particular alliance when you are flying different airlines in that alliance.

In which case, the answer is different depending upon how the airline measures tier miles (aka miles statut). Normally, you pick one airline and stick with it within each alliance.

Thank you so much for your answer. I'm very sorry about my bad english, i will try to be more understandable. I mean, for example, you travel all the day with one alliance, but, with differente company. So, what do you think about this transfer of miles? This system work easily? You're happy?

Thanks so much for all your answers!!!

Flagged for moderators.

This was also posted in Information Desk where people are trying to figure out exactly what the question is.

Please do not post the same thing in multiple places.

You do not transfer miles between programs. You just need to provide the partner carrier with your frequent flyer number, and the miles will be credited there. For example, provide Delta with your FlyingBlue number and some time after the flight it will credit to your FB account.

Do you have a specific question about this?
