Check in luggage

Dear sirs

I am travelling from CMB to TLS soon. My itinerary is CMB/FCO with SriLankan and FCO/TLS with Alitalia. How can I check in my luggage directly from CMB to TLS to save my time in FCO as I have only 01hr 45mts transit time?

Tks/ulsk

Welcome to FlyerTalk. I don't know the answer to your question, but have you called SriLankan to ask them?

Sometimes airlines have interline agreements in place, but it doesn't say so on their website. Good luck.

You need to check with SriLankan whether they have an interline agreement with Alitalia. If you bought it all on one ticket, they almost certainly will have one, since it will be on one ticket stock. If you bought this as two separate tickets you have a different problem, since you'll have to clear immigration at FCO, which may eat up a huge amount of your transit time and you may not make your second flight, in which case you'd be out of pocket and have to buy a new ticket (to and from TLS).
