AA Trip Credit Refund or Extension
Hi! I hope this isnt off-topic, but Ive been in this forum for a while now looking for info on AA Trip Credit. Can anyone give me a link or guide to the right thread? Im trying to reclaim a credit that we couldnt use because my wife was pregnant and COVID restricted our travel in 2022 and 2023. The credit has been expired for almost a year now, and Im wondering if theres a way to refund or extend it. Thanks!

I need to purchase about $16K worth of Delta flights for a group Africa trip departing June '24. I am currently Platinum on Delta, but my '24 status is 'Member'. I am looking for a strategy to leverage this purchase for maximum benefit given the newly announced Skymiles rules. Wait until January to buy the tickets? Get a specific Delta CC to purchase on? Etc.
