Hi, everyone! I've been a member for a while but finally posting. Hope to get some strategies about points and miles.

Here's a data point.

Back in 2010 I churned about 25 cards and made AAmerican Lifetime gold. Then I had kids and didn't open a card for 8 years.

Recently I have gotten back in the game.

8 months ago i got AA Plat Citibusiness. -- met the spend got the bonus.

7 months ago I got the AA Plat personal.-- met the spend got the bonus.

6 moths ago I got the Savor card. ---- met the spend got the bonus.

5 months ago I got the Barclay Arrival plus ---- met the spend got the bonus.

4 months ago I got the Chase sapphire preferred -- -- met the spend got the bonus.

2 moths ago I got the Chai Ink business card approved -- and I am meeting the spend on that one.

Had I read this forum before I started my latest gambit -i would not have applied in this order and I would have applied all at once.

But I was lazy and haphazard and impulsive. Hope this helps some other lazy disorganized slob out there.

Hello all! I'm Angie, a mother of two beautiful girls who are growing too fast! My husband and I were just married in Vegas in 2016 but we have been together since 2006. We recently bought our 1st house together! We love to cruise and Vegas as our top destinations.

Popping in here. Recently took a trip to Japan - first time out of the country in over 15 years (a night in Windsor, Canada doesn't count!). Made me realize I need to travel more often outside of work. Seems like a wealth of information around here to catch up on. Can't believe I've been fairly oblivious to points and bonus programs for so long.
