Been a week and while for the first two days a U.S. number didn’t work, it works now but every time I try to log in it Jeri’s giving me an error, no matter how many times I reset the password. No clue what to do to fix that other than hope they see my email and fix the website.
If the over 70 thing is an actual stipulation I’d the program and not another coding error that’s absolutely ridiculous. |

Is this available to OCI who are not resident in India ? Read on some other group that you have to provide an Indian address proof..

Some folks in Twitter said they got appointment for Bio-metrics, but the selected (read Tier 2) airport Immigration officers had no clue.
I also wonder, if this will ease up the Global Entry Background check for Indians - I know too much optimistic. But then if some one is allowed to leave / enter using this, the GEP approval from India should be automatic. |
Signed up 4 people on 28 June. It's not the friendliest process, but generally pretty straightforward. Got approval emails yesterday. Just about a week, so pretty good.
One of the people is an NRI - Indian passport, living abroad, with a foreign address in the passport. But I just used a Bombay address and it worked. But no information on exactly how or where to do the final enrollment. The email just says "As a next step, you need to get your biometrics enrolled at Mumbai Airport (or any other designated International Airport in India) during your next international travel." What I haven't been able to do so far:
And of course, no response to any emails. Not even an automated eff off copy paste job. |

Address Proof (pdf) (between 10KB to 1MB) is/are required to be re-uploaded for further processing of the application. We are sorry for the inconvenience caused. |
So they are basically set up for resident Indians? Should I even bother to start the process (with an Indian Mobile and Address)?

I had already uploaded the address proof when I applied but did so again today. Lets see what they come up with next. |

That's odd. Though the instructions said address proof required, the application didn't ask for it. Come to think of it there wasnt even an option to provide one. I just did picture (as an image) and first and last pages of passports (as two separate PDFs).
I moved last year but have not updated my current address on my passport. I will run out of pages at some point later this year so was going to reapply for a new passport once that happened. |
Ah that makes sense. Didn't expect the site to be intelligent like that... Hahah

I'm traveling to the US in another couple of weeks so it would be great if enrollment can be done at the time of departure so that I can use it on my way back. |
