Booking Kalka to Shimla Train
Hi,
My wife and I are taking out honeymoon trip to India and we would like to visit Shimla. We want to book the Shivalik Deluxe Express which leaves at 05:40 on 2nd April, however we see that there is no availability on the India railways site and that we are 30 wait list.
Is there an alternative method of booking this train - like paying an agency in India or something? Are there other trains/times that are recommended to go up to Shimla that provide a good experience?
Also - is there an agent that can sort this for us? I tried IRCTC site but it's useless for foreigners, yes there are long complicated instructions for linking accounts with Cleartrip but really do not have the patience for it.
