Indian 100 rupee notes dated 2012
I see that the Indian government have recently released a new design of 100 rupee notes. From my last visit to India I have some 100 rupee notes with a 2012 date on the back. As far as I can see these are still valid but could someone confirm these for me please as I will be arriving in Delhi late night (~ 2 am) in a couple of weeks and I want to have cash for a taxi in case I need one.

no worries....its only the old inr 500 & 1k notes that are no longer legal tender....over the last year or so the government has released new notes for various denominations but all the old notes work as well....
