Arriving Early for Flights
My family is leaving India together however some of us are flying JL740 (departs 2030) and some flying LH763 (departs 0200). Will we be able to show up to the airport together or will Lufthansa not let them check in so early? If they don't, can they sit at the PPL arrivals until LH check in opens up in the evening (as they won't have BP and will technically be flying next day)?

I think the PPL departure lounge is post security / immigration so you cannot access that so early.
Arrivals lounge should be accessible as they are also a paid lounge IMO..

LH has a notice on their DEL checkin deadline page:
The exclamation marks seem to indicate that it seems to be a recurring issue
BTW even if you manage to get an online or connecting boarding pass, immigration can't often process you as the data is not loaded into their system. I've run into that...
!! Terminal entry no earlier than 4 hours before departure possible, Check-in Opening hours 21:30 - 02:30!!
