Tailor in Kerala

Can anyone advice on a good tailor in Kerala ? My husband is hoping to get a couple of suits made (copied from his favourite one) when we travel there later this year.

we'll be staying in Trivandrum, Kumarakom (but this is over christmas and only 4 nights so I'm not sure if there would be time to get something made) & Cochin.

I'm not sure Kerala has any Hongkong type tailers -

I would recommend visiting the local Raymonds Shops. Chain of stores who specialize in suites and any indian wedding is not complete without the suite from Raymonds

Usually, they get it done in 8-10 days, but I have seen special orders for visitors done in 2-3 days with a trial for fitting as well.

If you go from kerala to chennai (MAA) which is like an hour tops from any city with an airport in Kerala, there's Syed Bawkher and Co - www.syedbawkher.com

I am an extremely satisfied customer. They're bespoke tailors, not a quickie copy shop. But they'll sell you great fabric, and they'll be glad to take design suggestions and improve on them.
