Tailor in Kerala
 

Can anyone advice on a good tailor in Kerala ? My husband is hoping to get a couple of suits made (copied from his favourite one) when we travel there later this year.

we'll be staying in Trivandrum, Kumarakom (but this is over christmas and only 4 nights so I'm not sure if there would be time to get something made) & Cochin.

I'm not sure Kerala has any Hongkong type tailers -

I would recommend visiting the local Raymonds Shops. Chain of stores who specialize in suites and any indian wedding is not complete without the suite from Raymonds ;)

Usually, they get it done in 8-10 days, but I have seen special orders for visitors done in 2-3 days with a trial for fitting as well.

i attended a wedding in cochin last year & the airline misplaced my luggage so i had to get a suit in a hurry....i walked into the first raymond shop i could find & was looking to buy a readymade suit but the shop owner told me he could also get a suit made for me by the next evening....i picked out the material & my suit was ready just in time for my friend's wedding the following evening....by this time the airline also located my luggage so i ended up with an extra suit....:p
